The sand dunes of Serignan Plage
The bright blue of the Mediterannean The beaches in this region are mostly long stretches of hot white sand, most towns have a touristy bit with all the usual shops and restaurants, a section where there might be a beach café, and a nudist beach. In this final section you will usually find any gay activity if there is any, particularly in the dunes at the rear of these beaches. It should be noted however that any sexual act in public is illegal, and although not much in evidence these beaches are patrolled by the police, sometimes on horseback.
