⇑ Sérignan Plage or Marseilhan Plage ⇑ ⇐ The blue sky over the inviting Mediterranean waters The beaches in this region are mostly long stretches of clean white sand, most towns have a touristy bit with all the usual shops and restaurants, a section where there might be a beach café, water sports hire etc. and finally a nudist (naturist) beach, and it is here you will usually find any gay activity if it exists, particularly in the dunes at the rear of these beaches. It should be noted however that any sexual act in public is illegal, and although not much in evidence these beaches are patrolled by the police, sometimes on horseback. |
